WEIGHTY ISSUES TAPPING
Tap away the underlying issues to effective weight loss.
Karate chop: Even though I eat when I'm not hungry, I choose to begin noticing
when I am hungry and eating even if it's not the scheduled time for a meal.
I will learn to let my body guide me. Even though I've lost touch with my body
and am not sure how to listen to my body's wisdom, I want to get
in touch with my body's hunger signals. I've lost touch with my body's
hunger signals and I love and accept myself and my body.
Top of head; I eat when I'm not hungry
Eyebrow: Then don't eat when I am because it's not time to eat.
Side of eye: I will learn to listen to my body
Under Eye: I will eat when I am hungry even if it's not meal time
Under Nose: I eat when I'm not hungry
Chin: I'll listen to my body.
Collarbone: I eat to stuff feelings.
UnderArm: I will find another way to deal with feelings. EFT can deal with them
Wrist: I will find another way to comfort myself other than food
Top of Head: I will eat when I am hungry, only when I am hungry. I choose to
make friends with my body again.
Not eating when we are hungry sets up dysfunctional patterns of thinking in the
unconscious mind in relation to food.
The RELATIONSHIP between YOU and your BODY is the most fundamental
and important relationship ofyour lifetime. It's the blueprint from which all
your other relationships will be built.
Constantly overriding body's natural call for food alters metabolism.
Sometimes causes mild depression.
Telling yourself you 'can't have' certain foods only sets you up
for failure. Forbidden foods become more attractive to you.
The balance between your positive intention and your resistance to being controlled
(even if it's by yourself) can be exhausting. (Internal Civil War)
Is the hunger feeling a thirst? Body can't distinguish between hunger and thirst signals.
By the time body knows it's thirsty, it's already dehydrated.
Drink water first.
REMEMBER: That the body believes what YOU tell it.
IF you say this food is bad, body will respond to it being bad for you.
If you say: "I am fat, the body will go to work to make you fat.
Be VERY CAREFUL in what you say to YOURSELF.
Your body is always listening and recording, then playing it back for you.
Whenever we are doing something that is essential for our survival, like eating,
breathing deeply, or making love, we release a happy chemical in our brains called serotonin.
We often shovel food in to get that serotonin HIGH.
Then we feel fat and guilty afterwards.
KARATE: Even though I love to get that serotonin high, I do love and accept myself and
would love to be able to get that high just by being happy and peaceful and calm.
Even though I eat to get that serotonin high I do want to learn to love and accept
myself and my body. I eat to get that high and I do want to learn to love and
accept myself just the way I am.
TOP OF HEAD: I love to get that serotonin high by eating.
EYEBROW: I would love to be peaceful and calm without using food.
SIDE OF EYE: Getting that high that makes me feel better.
UNDER EYE: Eating to stuff anxiety.
UNDER NOSE: Learning to tap to release anxiety
CHIN: Eating to get that high that quells anxiety.
COLLARBONE: Eating to feel good
UNDER ARM: Eating to release anxiety
WRIST: Eating to feel happy.
TOP OF HEAD: I'd love to feel happy without having to stuff feelings.
Send new messages to the unconscious that you are changing by leaving food on the plate.
Show body (subconscious) that you want to change.
LESS FOOD IN YOUR STOMACH = more CONTROL in your life.
KARATE CHOP: Even though I was taught that I had to clean my plate, we must not waste
any food, I do love and accept myself and now choose to learn to leave some on my
plate so that my subconscious gets the message that I am eating less. I was taught to clean
my plate and I do love and accept myself.
TOP OF HEAD: Taught to clean every bite on my plate
EYEBROW: I belonged to the clean plate club
SIDE OF EYE: Eating every bite
UNDER EYE: Giving my subconscious the message that it's ok to leave food on my plate
UNDER NOSE: Don't waste any food.
CHIN: Can't leave any food
COLLARBONE: Eat every single bite.
UNDER ARM: Taught to clean your plate
WRIST: It's now ok to leave food on my plate.

BODY IMAGE:
YOU CANNOT get slim until you first SEE yourself as slim.
You have to SEE your GOAL for it to come into being. IT HAS to start 'in the mind first.'
Start by collapsing old thoughts with EFT by doing the following exercise.
Visualize looking at your nude body in the mirror;
1. HOW DO I DESCRIBE MY BODY TO MYSELF?
KARATE: Even though I see myself as fat and that is what I am, I do love and
accept my body. Even though I keep telling myself that I am fat every time
I look in the mirror, I now choose to see myself as I would like to be and in
doing that, my body begins to respond and until I do that, my body will
stay as it is. I now choose to love and accept myself and to SEE my new
slim me, knowing that it will manifest.
TOP OF HEAD: I look in the mirror and say I'm fat
EYEBROW: My subconscious accepts that as truth and goes about making it
happen for me.
SIDE OF EYE: I tell myself I'm fat, record that in my subconscious, then wonder
why I can't lose weight and keep it off.
UNDER EYE: I see myself as fat and that's what I then become
UNDER NOSE: I choose to begin seeing myself as I want to be.
CHIN: I choose to see myself slim. My birthright is to be slim.
COLLARBONE: I choose to love and accept myself.
UNDER ARM: I am recording over my old programming in my Subconscious.
WRIST: As I see a new me, my body and cells respond and it is so.
(remember that your body is responding to what YOU tell it)
It doesn't matter what ANYONE else says about you.
You are your worst critic. YOUR body responds to what YOU tell it.
NOTHING appears in the body except when the mental equivalent is FIRST in your mind.
So to change body, we MUST change mind.
(this is where EFT is so valuable)
How many people lose all the weight they want, then still feel bad about themselves
and gain it all back again?
Whatever you claim mentally and feel as true, your subconscious will accept and bring
forth into experience!
Change how you SEE and FEEL yourself...only THEN can it happen.
VISUALIZATION Is so powerful. It's the best way to communicate with our bodies as to what
we actually want. SEE It, then it will happen. AGAIN...tap away tail-enders.
(I'll never look like that. I don't have what it takes to get there. I'm not good enough)
By changing the way we SEE ourselves, we will change our Quality of life, self-esteem,
and WILL to do things we've not done before.
*When you tap to change the energy around our problems with ourselves and our relationship
to our bodies and to food, the behaviour then follows.
The body is LISTENING to everything you tell it. Cells are constantly listening in with an
amazing communication system. IF you say, "I'm sick," cells respond and go to work helping
you be sick. If you say, "I'm fat," cells simply do what you order them to do. This has been
proven through placebo experiments. Change is in the mind.
We are constantly creating new bodies every year. Skin cells make new ones every month,
Stomach, every five days, Liver, every 6 months, bones, every 3 months. In one year's time
we have a whole new body. The cells reproduce according to what we are subconsciously
telling them to do. They respond to OUR thinking, our thoughts.
Go to your thoughts and change them with EFT!
Tapping each day helps keep weight away and helps us consciously form our
bodies the way we want them to look.
STRONG CRAVINGS are signs of loss of ability to enjoy food.
When you notice them, do the following tapping exercise:
Karate chop: "Even though I have lost my ability to enjoy food, I choose to begin
noticing the joys of eating like a thin person. I choose to reacquaint myself with the
pleasures of eating." I've lost my ability to enjoy food and I'm still a great person.
I can regain my pleasures of eating and learn to have that balance with food and with my body.
TOP OF HEAD: I've lost my ability to enjoy food
EYEBROW: I'm having cravings
SIDE OF EYE: I choose to begin to notice the joys of eating and the joys of food.
UNDER EYE: I've lost my ability to enjoy food.
UNDER NOSE: I'm not sure I can learn to enjoy it again.
CHIN: Of course I can and I will
COLLARBONE: I want to enjoy food.
UNDER ARM: I can learn to enjoy food again.
WRIST: I choose to learn balance with food.
TOP OF HEAD: I'm learning to love my body and my body is responding.
EYEBROW: I want to improve in energy and vigour today and every day.
SIDE OF EYE: My body is NEW at every moment.
UNDER EYE: I weigh ___ Stone and that is my normal weight.
UNDER NOSE: I want to improve in energy and vigour today and every day.
CHIN: My body is NEW at every moment.
COLLARBONE: I weight _____ (my ideal weight) and that is my normal weight.
UNDER ARM: My body is new at every moment.
WRIST: I am in control of my body.
TOP OF HEAD: I CAN and DO have control over myself and how I look and feel.
Other set up phrases:
Even though I'm a food or sweet addict, I love and accept myself?
Even though I have the urge to eat to comfort myself, I accept myself.
Even though I stay fat to hide myself, I love and accept myself.
Even though I'm worthless and shouldn't look good, I love and accept myself.
Even though I deny being fat, I love and accept myself.
Even though I hate myself, I love and accept myself
Even though I have all these problems and some of them are unknown, I realize that
I am not the problem, I'm still a good person. I accept all my feelings as they are and
completely love myself anyway.
Even though I have this evil in me that won't allow me to know happiness or love I ask
and allow love and forgiveness to enter into me creating a flow of safety and ease.
I ask and allow forgiveness of my problems and myself and anyone else or anything that
has to do with my problem and I love and accept myself just the way that IAM. I AM THAT I AM.
I AM WILLING TO LET MY NEGATIVE FEELINGS ABOUT MYSELF GO!
Even though I have all these ISSUES, the known and some unknown hiding in me,
the internal battle against so called good and evil I DO love and accept and forgive ALL of me.
It takes ALL parts of me to make ME.
Using index finger in place of karate chop:
INDEX FINGER: I FORGIVE myself for overeating. I forgive myself for this
compulsive behaviour that seems out of control at times. I forgive myself for
hating my body. I am learning to change my relationship to my body.
Top of head: I forgive myself for overeating
Eyebrow: I have this compulsive behaviour and I'm o.k.
SIDE OF EYE; I forgive myself for hating my body
UNDER EYE: My body has been the vehicle to get me through life.
UNDER NOSE: I so appreciate my body
CHIN: I'm sorry that I've abused you mentally, body.
COLLARBONE: I forgive myself for feeling worthless.
UNDERARM: I choose to realize who I really am, not my body, not my problems.
WRIST: I am much more than what I see
TOP OF HEAD: I am so much more than I even realize and so much more important
to the whole than I can begin to realize. I forgive myself and love myself and owe it to
myself to take care of my body. I forgive what I've done in the past. This is now.
I NOW love and accept myself and my body!

DAILY AFFIRMATIONS TO DO WHILE TAPPING
SAY OUT LOUD AS YOU TAP ALONG:
The Perfection of the highest and best is now being expressed THROUGH me and my body.
The idea of perfect health and a slim and healthy body is now filling my subconscious mind.
My subconscious recreates me in the Highest and Best's Perfect Image.
My body and all it's organs were created by the infinite intelligence in my subconscious mind.
It knows how to heal me and balance my body. Its wisdom fashioned all my organs, tissues,
muscles and bones. The infinite healing presence within me is now transforming every
atom of my being making me whole and perfect NOW.
I give thanks for the healing that is taking place NOW.
Wonderful are the works of the creative intelligence within me.
I ask my subconscious to take over in peace, harmony
and divine order. I give thanks for the healing that is taking place NOW!
Pray aloud as you tap 2 or 3 times a day, especially just before sleep.
What changes do you see in 3 months time?
BELIEVE that good things are happening NOW.
Never finish a negative statement. REVERSE it immediately!
And wonders will happen in your life.
Tap to the following exercise each morning:
JUST FOR TODAY:
Just for today, I will love my body as it is.
Just for today, I will eat what I want AND consciously enjoy every bite.
Just for today I will let myself open all my senses to what I'm eating.
Just for today I will eat whatever I want without guilt so long as I make myself
comfortable and pay close attention to every detail of what I am eating even if it's
just one morsel of food.
Just for today, I will be aware of the sensations of the food touching my lips, how it tastes
and feels as it touches my tongue, how it sounds as I chew every bite. I will notice my saliva
beginning to respond to help digest as I thoroughly chew and enjoy.
It feels so good to do this JUST FOR TODAY.
It feels so good to allow myself to Love myself JUST AS I AM.
I realize something now, I have felt that those people, out there were judging me for being
fat. Maybe someone said something to me one time. I recorded it as my truth and I've been
carrying on for them all these years, telling myself I'm fat every single day.
I'm actually the one who keeps telling myself that I am fat. It's an inside job. I'm my own
creator. My body only responds to what I tell it. It's saying, "Hey, I'm only doing what you
tell me to do." So just for today I'm loving my body. I'm feeling thin. I'm eating consciously.
And it feels SO GOOD.
Just for today I will tell myself, "You are fantastic __________!"
And just for today I FEEL FANTASTIC!
Keep tapping as you close your eyes and really get in to FEELING FANTASTIC!

Cells have memory. There are examples of it everywhere.
For example, are there any scars on your body?
How many years ago did you get them?
Why is it that they continue to show up when science tells us
that cells make new ones every day?
Because your cells have a memory of the event that occurred to
cause the scar.
Because of this cell memory, they know exactly how
much they have in their reserves.
When you start to 'diet,' the cells become very concerned
for their survival. They don't care if you are doing it slowly or
quickly. All they see is that you are stealing what they
need to survive. Nor does a cell care how much we weigh.
Just don't take their stuff from them.
They will work hard to replace what you take...hence why we
regain what we lose normally.
The good news is that Cells reproduce according to what we tell
them in our subconscious. They respond to OUR THINKING.
Here's a tapping exercise to help you communicate with your
cells so that they aren't trying to replace what you are stealing
from them as you diet.
KARATE CHOP: Even though my cells are only concerned
with surviving and will do whatever it takes to survive,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself and my cells.
Even though my cells might think I am stealing from them
as I focus on my new weight loss plan and let the weight go
while I eat less calories and they will be doing all they
can to survive so will be working against me by trying to
replace what I?ve stolen from them, I deeply and completely
love and accept myself and my cells.
TOP OF HEAD: I ask my cells to trust me.
EYEBROW: I will no longer starve them.
SIDE OF EYE: I know now what it takes to easily and safely
let go of the excess weight without threatening their
survival so you can trust me cells.
UNDER EYE: I will safely work with you WHILE you help
me to let this weight go.
UNDER NOSE: I'll help you survive cells.
CHIN: Let's work together on this as we let the excess go.
COLLARBONE: There'll be enough left for us all.
UNDER ARM: I love, accept and trust my cells to
work with me on this for the good of us all.
TOP OF HEAD: My cells just want to survive.
EYEBROW: They think I am stealing from them.
SIDE OF EYE: It's safe for my cells to let this surplus go.
UNDER EYE: We don't need it anymore cells.
You're doing a GREAT job cells.
UNDER NOSE: We will safely let the excess go.
CHIN: It no longer needs to be replaced for your survival.
COLLARBONE: You can safely let 2 lbs. of storage go a week.
UNDER ARM: I need you, cells to work With me rather
than against me.
WRIST: Let's work together cells.
COLLARBONE: There is no threat here anymore.
TOP OF HEAD: I will easily and safely let this weight go.
EYEBROW: I ask for your help cells. I'm letting you know
that we can let this excess go.
SIDE OF EYE: You can let 2 lb. a week go, cells and still
survive and be healthy.
UNDER EYE: I ask for your cooperation cells.
UNDER NOSE: I ask for my cells to understand what we
are doing here.
CHIN: Let's safely let the excess go
COLLARBONE: No need to replace what we let go of.
UNDERARM: It's now safe to let the excess fat go.
WRIST: This is good for the whole. Let's Do it cells!
TOP OF HEAD: It's safe for my cells to let this excess fat go.
I'm now healthy and slim and weigh ____ stone.
I LOVE Seeing and feeling the new me!
